Last week, Tech-Weld had the opportunity to attend Industry Days at Rock Island Arsenal, and it was time well spent.
Events like these give us a chance to step away from the day-to-day and hear directly from the people shaping the future of defense manufacturing. From discussions around modernization efforts to conversations about strengthening the supply chain, there was a lot of valuable insight shared throughout the event.
One of the biggest takeaways was the continued focus on building a stronger, more responsive manufacturing base. As priorities shift and new challenges emerge, collaboration between government organizations and industry partners becomes even more important. It was encouraging to see the emphasis being placed on working together to support the mission.
For our team, Industry Days wasn’t just about presentations and procurement updates. It was about making connections, learning where opportunities exist, and gaining a better understanding of how manufacturers like Tech-Weld can continue to support critical programs in the future.
We’re grateful to Rock Island Arsenal for hosting the event and providing a behind-the-scenes look at their priorities and long-term vision. The conversations we had reinforced something we already believe: strong partnerships and a capable manufacturing network are essential to getting the job done.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to support the industries and customers that depend on quality manufacturing, reliable execution, and trusted partnerships.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with us. We look forward to seeing where these conversations lead.
