Tech-Weld: About Us
Tech-Weld, Inc., is a full-service custom manufacturer of precision welded tubes, tanks, cones, and weldments. Founded in 1992, we are a family-operated business where welding has been passed down for generations. We’ve taken over 75 years of experience and put it to work for each and every customer whom we have had the pleasure to serve. It is these very same customers who have been the key to our success. Our focus on working with our customers to meet their needs, along with a willingness to adapt to changing requirements as-needed, has not gone unnoticed.
In the past 30+ years, we have more than quadrupled in size. Our first facility, located in South Elgin, Illinois, was a mere 3,500 square feet. In 1996, we moved to Elburn, Illinois, where we continued to evolve and expand. In the spring of 2020, we moved to our current location in Sycamore, Illinois. Our new building is almost double the size of our previous one, expanding from 18,000 sq ft. to 34,000 sq ft. Because of this expansion, we have more efficient space to increase manufacturing capabilities to support current growth as well as future business.
