Revised-Update COVID-19 3/23/2020 For Tech-Weld Operations

Our Valued Customers and Vendors,

On Friday, March 20th, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker issued Executive Order 2020-10 requiring all Illinoisans to stay in their homes to prevent the further spread of COVID-19; see the specific details of the Order below. While the Order requires non-essential businesses to close until April 7, 2020; Tech-Weld is viewed as an essential business and will continue to remain operational to support all of our defense, aerospace, automotive, agriculture and air and water purification companies throughout these hard times.

12. Essential Businesses and Operations: For the purposes of this Executive Order, Essential Businesses and Operations means Healthcare and Public Health Operations, Human Services Operations, Essential Governmental Functions, and Essential Infrastructure, and the following;

t. Manufacture, distribution, and supply chain for critical products and industries. Manufacturing companies, distributors, and supply chain companies producing and supplying essential products and services in and for industries such as pharmaceutical, technology, biotechnology, healthcare, chemicals and sanitization, waste pickup and disposal, agriculture, food and beverage, transportation, energy, steel and steel products, petroleum and fuel, mining construction, national defense, communications, as well as products used by other Essential Businesses and Operations.

First and foremost, the safety and health of our employees and their families are very important to us. We will continue to follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other local and national health agencies.

In terms of day-to-day business, we continue production of orders as usual. If we anticipate any production delays, we will notify you immediately. In the meantime, we continue to monitor this evolving situation and will keep you informed of any future updates or changes. The health and safety of all is of key concern to us at Tech-Weld.
